Geraldine Viswanathan, recognised for her breakout performance opposite John Cena in the 2018 comedy Blockers, has landed a lead role in Minhal Baig's indie flick Hala, and the upcoming TBS comedy series Miracle Workers.

The 22 year old Australian, hailed by The Los Angeles Times as this year's 'comedy breakout' star, first made her mark playing Bonnie Mahesh in the 2017 Australian television drama Janet King, before moving to LA and signing with WME and Lital Spitzer at 3 Arts Entertainment.
